📢📢 PA DHS has announced changes to Thursday operating hours for all County Assistance Offices, the PA DHS Customer Service Center, and the PA DHS Helpline, effective November 5, 2026. Please be aware!

All County Assistance Offices, the PA DHS Customer Service Center, and the PA DHS Helpline currently have a delayed opening to the public of 11:00 a.m. on Thursdays. Starting Nov. 5, 2026, they will have a delayed opening of 1:00 p.m. on Thursdays.

The public will not be able to enter offices and calls will not be accepted before 1:00 p.m. on Thursdays due to staff training. This will not impact hours of operation on other days of the week. Thursday delayed openings will continue for the foreseeable future.

Individuals can still submit an application or renewal, report a change, submit verification documents, and more anytime online at dhs.pa.gov/COMPASS.

Join us for our October Ability Works Activity on Wednesday, October 21, from 12–3 PM! 🎃

We have a fun afternoon planned with a Halloween party, costume contests, music, dancing, and pizza! We'll also be joined by CAMTRAN to learn about their services and Mainline Pharmacy for optional flu vaccinations.

👻 Costumes are encouraged but not required!

💉 Flu vaccinations require preregistration by October 15.
