Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to delete or mark as spam any and all commen
ts and posts to the page. We also reserve the right to block access to any user from posting to the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce page. The following types of comments and will not be tolerated on the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce page. Any posts or comments found in violation of the usage guidelines will be removed. A posting on this page constitutes acceptance of these terms.
• Personal attacks and vulgar, abusive, offensive, threatening or
harassing language. This includes creative spelling of swear words
and using asterisks, symbols, or spaces between letters of intended
swear words.
• Comments that promote, foster or perpetuate discrimination on the
basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status,
status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or
mental disability, or sexual orientation.
• Comments that contain sexually explicit content or links to sexually
explicit content as well as images, links, or content of inappropriate
nature.
• Comments that promote or advertise a person, business or
commercial transaction that is unrelated to the business
industry in Joplin, Missouri.
• Multiple posts of identical information. Subsequent postings of
identical information will be deleted.
• Comments that promote or oppose any person campaigning for
election to a political office.
• Comments or posts that disclose information which the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce its
employees and board members are required to keep confidential by law or administrative
rule.
• Comments that damage or detract from the intent of the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce page as stated in the description section of the information
page.
• No trolling will be tolerated. The troll’s comments will be deleted and the troll will be immediately banned from the page. Users participate at their own risk, taking personal responsibility for the comments they post, their user name, and any information provided. Comments on the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce page are public and may be used by Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce for the purpose of promoting business in the Joplin area. Opinions expressed in public comments do not necessarily reflect official positions of the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce.
