Yesterday, Eagle Ridge of Decatur made memories and had lots of FUN! The residents and staff teamed up with Synergy HomeCare for a safe and super-fun slip and slide event—and let’s just say, the smiles were contagious! 😄

The residents had a blast, and the staff couldn’t resist joining in on the fun either! They cooled off, laughed a lot, and enjoyed some delicious soda floats to top it off. A huge thank you to Taylor and Doug from Synergy HomeCare for coming out and helping them create such a fun-filled day for everyone! We truly appreciate you spending the afternoon with us and bringing so much joy to our residents and staff. ❤️

Connecting care across every distance!

Today, we gathered online for our virtual Mid-Atlantic Annual Clinical Leadership Retreat. While we swapped the physical meeting room for digital screens, the core message remained exactly the same as our June retreat in Champaign: The Power of Care & Connection.

No matter where our team members are located, our commitment to supporting our clinical leaders, sharing vital insights, and putting heart into everything we do stays steadfast.

A huge thank you to all the incredible clinical leaders who joined us today! Your passion and dedication continue to elevate the level of care across all our communities!

Today, we honor and celebrate the incredible seniors in our lives. National Senior Citizen Day is a reminder of the wisdom, strength, and stories that older adults carry with them every day.

We believe every senior deserves to feel seen, valued, and cared for, not just today, but every day. Growing older is a journey, and it is one that deserves to be met with love, compassion, and dignity.

To every senior and to the families and caregivers who walk alongside them, thank you. Your resilience inspires us, and your well-being matters deeply to us. 🤍

Yesterday was full of smiles, cuddles, and some very special animal visitors at Carriage Court of Washington Court House. Petland stopped by to spend some time with their residents, bringing along adorable puppies, a sweet bunny, a guinea pig, a lizard, and even a snake!

The residents absolutely loved cuddling the puppies and meeting the other furry and scaly friends.

Now, the snake… well, let’s just say he wasn’t everyone’s favorite visitor! Some of the residents were happy to admire him from a safe distance!

Thank you to Petland for bringing such a fun and memorable experience to Carriage Court. Everyone had plenty of laughs, lots of cuddles, and definitely a few “no thank you” moments! ❤️

🥤🍦 Happy National Root Beer Float Day! 🍦🥤

Today Heritage Woods of Sullivan celebrated one of the sweetest days of the year with classic root beer floats for everyone! There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little nostalgia as our residents enjoyed this cool summertime treat together.

Sometimes it's the simple things that create the best memories, and today was definitely one of those days. Cheers to good friends, sweet treats, and making every moment count at Heritage Woods of Sullivan! ❤️

We are excited to finally announce that White Oaks at McHenry has been awarded the prestigious Memory Care Seal of Excellence by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). The distinction places White Oaks at McHenry among an elite group of providers in the Memory Care Excellence Network (MCEN), recognizing its outstanding commitment to person-centered dementia care and high operational standards.

The MCEN is a selective initiative designed to identify and support top-tier long-term care organizations. To earn inclusion, White Oaks at McHenry underwent a rigorous evaluation covering staff training, operational practices, and continuous competency in specialized memory care.

We are excited to share this excellence with our staff, residents, and family and friends!
