Our friends at the Southport Park Association are hosting their Mum Sale on Saturday, September 5 from 8am to noon at 7510 2nd Avenue. Mums are $30 each in 9-inch pots. Every purchase supports the organization’s efforts to advocate for a reimagined Southport Park that brings together recreation, conservation, education, and historic preservation along Kenosha’s lakefront!

This month, we’re spotlighting Ben Bruno of Community State Bank! Ben serves as Assistant Vice President of Business Banking, where he enjoys helping local businesses grow and succeed. Outside of work, Ben loves spending time with his family and making memories through exciting and fun experiences. As a Chamber Ambassador, he especially enjoys meeting new people and building meaningful connections. Ben believes the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce does an incredible job making businesses of all sizes feel welcomed, valued, and like they truly belong in the community.

Had the distinct honor and pleasure to be involved in the ribbon cutting for Logan Kelley’s Blockbuster Movie Exchange! Logan created the exchange, inspired by the popular Little Free Library concept. Visitors to his Blockbuster Movie Exchange are encouraged to leave a movie and take a movie. It is completely free and designed to bring neighbors together through a shared love of film. The exchange is located at 2707 26th Avenue in Kenosha!
