With Quiet BPD, we don’t always blow up or start explosive arguments when we feel hurt, abandoned, or overwhelmed. Instead, we turn everything inward and when the pain becomes too much, we quietly withdraw.

Cutting someone off isn’t done out of malice or games; it’s often an act of self-preservation to stop the emotional spiral and protect what’s left of our peace.

Sometimes, walking away silently is the gentlest boundary we know how to set.

Does this resonate with your experience of Quiet BPD? Drop a 🖤 in the comments and share to help raise awareness for the quiet, hidden sides of BPD that often go unseen.

Choosing peace over confrontation isn’t weakness, it’s wisdom. Removing yourself from environments, conversations, or dynamics that drain your spirit is one of the highest forms of self-care.

Protect your energy, honor your boundaries, and step away from anything that costs you your peace of mind. 🌿✨

When you carry Quiet BPD, the words said to you don't just fade away, they echo until you believe every conflict, mood shift, or mistake is entirely your fault. Giving myself grace today to unlearn that narrative. Feeling deeply and carrying old wounds doesn't make you a bad person. 🌿

"When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment not the flower."

My whole life I felt like I didn't belong in South Florida, but family would convince me to stay by saying that I'm just running away from my problems.

Until I realized they were the problem.
So I left, to chase my dreams, of having a home.

“You seem so calm.” If only they knew what was happening on the inside.

🌊 Fighting storms in silence.

It's funny because we're catholic.

1. She doesn't believe in God, but I'm the one doing satanic stuff by wearing black.
2. Religion and Philosophy happen to be my special interest and there's nothing wrong with being a witch.
3. Even Jesus said stay away from the church.

Happy Sunday

Common Trauma Responses (That Don’t Look Like Trauma)

Trauma doesn’t always show up in obvious ways, sometimes it hides behind everyday habits, behaviors, and coping mechanisms. Here are a few subtle responses to keep in mind:

✨Over-apologizing: Saying “sorry” for things out of your control to avoid potential conflict or keep the peace.
✨Avoiding emotions: Pushing down feelings or staying constantly busy to keep difficult emotions at bay.
✨Feeling unsafe when it’s calm: Experiencing anxiety or waiting for the “other shoe to drop” during peaceful, low-stress moments.
✨Overachieving to feel worthy: Tying your self-worth and value entirely to your achievements, productivity, or perfectionism.
✨Constant people-pleasing: Prioritizing others’ needs, wishes, and feelings above your own to feel secure or liked.
✨Distrusting compliments: Second-guessing praise or feeling uncomfortable when someone says something nice about you.

Recognizing these patterns is often the first step toward understanding yourself better and giving yourself grace on your healing journey.

Which of these resonates most with you?

To this day I can't ask for help without getting a lecture, so I kinda stopped talking all together.

Throwback Thursday ✨🧚🏽‍♀️ 2022

Turns out I wasn’t just ‘dramatic,’ ‘sensitive,’ or ‘a perfectionist.’ I was a girl trying to navigate a world built on a diagnostic checklist created by and for males. Decades of masking, internalized burnout, and wondering why everything felt so heavy finally makes sense.

Better late than never. 🧠✨

Any other late-diagnosed women out there? How old were you when the lightbulb finally went off? I was around 35 when I started to burn out.
