Hey everyone, Patti here. I had a (good - but) crazy busy day last Saturday, which was my first full day back on my feet after my MS flare. Not only did we have Tweety at Run to the Sun, with our car club, the Lake Havasu City, Over the Hill Gang, as a proud member of the Kiwanis of Lake Havasu City, I also had signed up to volunteer at their booth on Saturday. It was so much fun watching the kids play and meeting so many interesting people... including our mayor, . It was a pleasure running into you and I enjoyed our brief stroll and conversation.
After the show, Paul and I left to participate in the wedding for the daughter of Christine from the Clothes Closet. We were honored to provide a couple of classic hot rods for an amazing photo shoot, then I drove the newlyweds to the reception in that show worthy turquoise and white 55 Chevy (courtesy of Rik and Joellen Jimerson), with our 32, Tweety, following as es**rt! 😊 Thank you, Rik and Joellen for trusting us with your beautiful baby. The kids will cherish those photos forever!
The wedding was extra special to us, as they held the ceremony, on the Island at Point Gratiot lighthouse during sunset. As members of the LHC Lighthouse Club, we had just recently serviced that lighthouse (with Craig, Carl and Bruce) after we repaired the graffiti damage and replacing the damaged plaque on the Alpena lighthouse a couple months back.
Although the mother of the bride (Christine 🤗🥰) is resting out of town, I've been promised I will get a few of the photographer's wedding photos to share, when she returns. 😍
They definitely chose a beautiful location to start their new life together . . . They've only just begun . . . 🥰🤵♂️👰♀️💐🥂 Congratulations Amanda and Collin!
