Calling all Trainers! 📢 Check out this digital traveler from the neon-lit arcades of Japan: the Pokémon Mezastar Porygon Tag (2-4-051)! 👾🇯🇵
If you’ve never seen these before, they aren’t just cards—they’re “Meza Tags.” In Japan, these are the heart of a high-octane arcade game where digital data meets physical collectibles.
🕹️ What is Pokémon Mezastar?
Forget sitting on the couch—this is a full-sensory experience!
• The Machine: You play on a massive “Twin Cabinet” with two giant 50-inch screens.
• The Merge: If a “Special Tag Battle” occurs, the two separate screens visually fuse into one giant display for you and a friend to take down a massive boss together! 🤝💥
• Battle & Catch: You slide your tags onto the machine to summon your Pokémon. If you defeat a wild Pokémon, you can drop 100 yen to “catch” it and watch the machine dispense a physical tag just like this one!

PSA didn’t just buy Beckett. They silenced them. 🤐

Everyone is celebrating the “mega-merger,” but if you look closer, the timeline is terrifying. The hobby’s biggest monopoly just got absolute power, and the details are being swept under the rug.

Here is what they don’t want you to focus on:
🚩 The Fraud: Beckett’s ownership was drowning in a massive fraud scandal. They needed a bailout, and PSA was the predator waiting in the wings.
🚩 The “Hack”: Remember the massive data breach that leaked tons of collector PII? Was it just a hack, or was it corporate espionage to tank the valuation before the buy? The timing is too convenient.
🚩 The Lie: They promised SGC would stay independent. Now they say the same for Beckett. Don’t fall for it.

The goal is total control. They tanked SGC, now BGS is next.

Real collectors and restoration artists know that PSA’s black-box grading hurts the hobby. We are losing options, and we are losing trust.

It’s time for a reset.

Before I knew about how PSA, Beckett, and other grading companies measure centering; I used to use cheap plastic centering tools, calipers, and other inaccurate methods. Since my interview with a professional grader, I no longer guess when it comes to what grade my cards will hit before I submit.
