There are doors that hard work can open, and then there are doors that only God’s favor can unlock. We are called to work diligently, but we are also called to trust that our breakthrough does not come solely from our striving. Sometimes God places us in rooms we never qualified for on paper, connects us with the right people at the right time, and creates opportunities we could never manufacture on our own.
Favor is not about luck—it is about God’s hand upon your life. It is His ability working beyond your ability. While hustle may get you noticed, God’s favor can position you, protect you, and promote you in ways that leave no doubt that He was the One who made a way.
When you look back, you’ll realize that some of your greatest blessings came not from pushing harder, but from trusting deeper. The right opportunity, the unexpected connection, the open door, the answered prayer—these were all reminders that God’s favor goes before you.
So keep working faithfully, but don’t depend solely on your hustle. Depend on the God who can do in a moment what years of striving cannot. His favor can take you places your efforts alone never could.
