We were proud to join state and local partners in celebrating the grand opening and ribbon cutting of BOS Innovations Inc.'s new manufacturing operation in Lexington, a $5.4 million investment creating 111 full-time Kentucky jobs.

BOS Innovations' strategic expansion into Kentucky comes in response to the company's growing U.S. customer base. The new operation will allow for enhanced service responsiveness, improved cross-border collaboration and better supply chain integration. The Lexington facility will serve as the company's first operation in the United States.

At Commerce Lexington, manufacturing remains one of our strategic target industries, and we're committed to supporting investments that strengthen our regional economy, expand employment opportunities, and enhance Greater Lexington's long-term competitiveness.

On Monday, we had the opportunity to join the Georgetown Scott County Chamber of Commerce luncheon, where we shared an update on the Regional Competitiveness Plan and highlighted findings from our latest KPI report. The progress we're seeing across economic development, advocacy, talent, and regional collaboration is a testament to what can happen when communities work toward a shared vision.

Exciting news for Space Tango and the Commonwealth of Kentucky! We are expanding our Lexington headquarters with a $7.4 million investment, creating 25 new high-wage jobs while growing our engineering, laboratory, and mission operations capabilities.

For 25 years, Commerce Lexington's Access Loan Program has helped entrepreneurs across the Greater Lexington region turn business dreams into reality. What began following a 2000 leadership visit to Nashville has grown into a powerful regional resource — facilitating more than $27 million in loans for 136 small businesses and supporting entrepreneurs through partnerships with 26 financial institutions and organizations.

From startups to expansions, the Access Loan Program continues to strengthen our regional economy by helping small businesses gain access to the capital and guidance they need to grow and succeed. Last week, we were proud to host the Trade & Export Network Event during National Export Week at Banchetto at Lexington Pasta Garage. 🌎

The event brought together business leaders, exporters, and resource partners from across the region to discuss the growing impact of international trade on Kentucky’s economy and the opportunities available to businesses looking to expand globally.

Attendees heard valuable insights from experts in economic development, international trade banking, trade law, and manufacturing, while also learning more about the resources available to support exporters at every stage of growth.
