✨ Member Monday Spotlight ✨

This week we’re featuring McKenzie Gomez, Owner & Director of Lone Star Performance Academy. McKenzie owns and operates a local dance studio that truly feels like a home away from home for dancers and their families.

She teaches jazz/lyrical (ages 5–7), ballet/tap (ages 3–4), and baton twirling for all ages, offering a more personal, laid-back experience where students don’t get lost in the crowd. McKenzie works directly with parents to help them find the perfect class for their child and creates a space where students can step away from everyday stress and simply have fun for an hour.

Fun fact: McKenzie has been twirling since she was 2 years old! She was a Feature Twirler at the University of Arkansas, a 2025 Team USA member, and is a third-generation baton twirler✨

Tricia Worley with First United Bank recently shared a win that came directly from collaboration within our group. She referred a client to Aaron Moreno, who went above and beyond to help a first-time homebuyer save money and secure the best possible deal. While Aaron is now a former member, we are incredibly grateful for the time he spent with us and the care he showed to every referral he received. His impact continues to reflect the strength of the relationships built here, and this is exactly what meaningful, trust-based networking looks like.

We took networking to the next level today 🔥🍖

Instead of our usual spot, we switched things up and met at Agape BBQ — and let’s just say… great food + powerful conversations = serious momentum. New connections were strengthened, collaborations were sparked, and referrals were flowing — all over plates of incredible BBQ.

Trying something new reminded us that growth happens when you step outside the routine. Huge thank you to Agape BBQ for hosting us while we built business and community at the same time.
