NOW HIRING: TWO UNARMED EVENT SECURITY PROFESSIONALS
STAR Security Inc. is seeking two dependable, professional, and experienced individuals for an upcoming event assignment.
Pay Rate: $per hour
Positions Available: Two
Assignment Type: Short-term event security
Uniform: Professional black security uniform
Location and Schedule: Provided to qualified applicants during screening
Responsibilities:
Maintain a visible and professional security presence
Assist with access control and guest entry
Monitor crowds and event activity
Help prevent unauthorized access and disruptive behavior
Report incidents promptly and accurately
Coordinate with event management and STAR Security supervisors
Assist with emergency-response procedures when necessary
Applicant Requirements:
Valid state security license, when required
Prior security or event experience preferred
Professional appearance and communication skills
Reliable transportation
Working cellphone
Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
Ability to follow post orders and supervisor instructions
Must arrive on time and remain for the entire assigned shift
Must pass identity, license, and background verification

STAR Security Inc. is recruiting experienced, dependable, and professional armed and unarmed personnel for an upcoming event in Asheville, North Carolina.
PAY RATES
Armed Event Security Professional: $28.00 per hour
Unarmed Event Security Professional: $19.50 per hour
EVENT SCHEDULE
Thursday Overnight — September 24–25, 2026
One unarmed security professional
10:00 PM–10:00 AM
12-hour assignment
Friday Day — September 25, 2026
Two armed, uniformed security professionals
10:00 AM–10:00 PM
12-hour assignment per person
Friday Overnight — September 25–26, 2026
One unarmed security professional
10:00 PM–10:00 AM
12-hour assignment
Saturday Day — September 26, 2026
Two armed, uniformed security professionals
10:00 AM–10:00 PM
12-hour assignment per person
ASSIGNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Crowd management and public-safety monitoring
Entrance monitoring and access control
Vendor, equipment, and property protection
Overnight event-site monitoring
Parking-area and perimeter patrols
Visible security presence and crime deterrence
Incident documentation and daily activity reporting
Emergency-response coordination
Professional interaction with guests, vendors, and event staff
Enforcement of event policies and restricted areas
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
Professional appearance and communication skills
Dependable transportation and a working telephone
Ability to remain alert and active throughout a 12-hour assignment
Availability for the entire assigned shift
Event-security or crowd-management experience preferred
Current North Carolina security credentials, where required
Armed applicants must possess current North Carolina armed credentials and fi***rm qualifications
Must successfully complete STAR Security Inc.’s screening and assignment briefing
No unauthorized substitutions or early departures
Must arrive on time and remain for the complete assignment
