Amir “The Affirmation King” is in new homes after yesterday! 👑📚
The Black Children’s Book Festival, put on by and my girl , was nothing short of amazing! Yesterday proved exactly why Black children deserve to see themselves represented in the books they read.
I’m truly honored to be a part of such an incredible group of authors writing books for our children and pouring into the next generation. Representation matters, and yesterday was a beautiful reminder of the power of our stories. ✊🏾❤️

This past Friday, I had the incredible honor of being a workshop presenter at , speaking to 2 groups of educators about the power of affirmations in the classroom. 🙌🏾 It was such a fulfilling experience and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity. I look forward to more moments like this to share Nurturing Amir and the importance of speaking confidence into ALL children! 📖✨ also, Happy National Black Author Day to every Black author out there making a difference!
