Maybe you're not spiritually exhausted because you don't love God enough.

Maybe you're spiritually exhausted because motherhood has changed everything.

Your schedule.
Your sleep.
Your energy.
Your body.
Your identity.

Before motherhood, spending time with God may have looked completely different.

Maybe you had a morning routine.

Maybe you could sit down with your Bible and a cup of coffee.

Maybe you had time to journal, pray, and really sit with Scripture.

And now?
You might be lucky to shower.

You love Jesus.
You want to spend time with Him.

But sometimes your Bible sits untouched while you spend the entire day caring for everyone else.

And then comes the guilt.
"I should be doing more."
"I used to be better at this."
"Why do I feel so far away from God?"

Friend, your faith isn't gone.
You are in a new season.

And you don't need more guilt about your relationship with God.

You need a way to reconnect with Him that recognizes the reality of postpartum.

That's exactly what we'll talk about in my free live workshop this Sunday, July 25th:

✨ Staying Close to God Postpartum: Spending Time with Him When You Barely Have Time to Shower ✨

We'll talk about how to reconnect with God, spend time in His Word, and grow spiritually without adding another impossible expectation to your already-full life.

You don't have to become the woman you were before motherhood to feel close to God again.

God wants to meet you right here.

The problem is you're trying to fit pre-baby spiritual habits into post-baby lives.

You don't have an hour of uninterrupted quiet anymore.

You have naps that end early.
Feedings.
Diapers.
Laundry.
A baby who needs you.

So you start believing the lie that you're failing spiritually or that God is disappointed in you.

But God isn't asking you to return to your old routine.
He's inviting you to meet Him right where you are.

Sometimes spending time with God looks like praying while you rock your baby.
Reading one verse during tummy time.
Listening to Scripture on a walk.
Whispering, "Lord, help me," in the middle of a hard moment.

You don't need the perfect quiet time set up.

You need a faith that fits this season while keeping Christ at the center.

That's exactly why I created Postpartum on Purpose Bible Study.

Inside the study, we'll combine practical postpartum support with biblical truth so you can stop striving and start growing with God in this season of motherhood.

If you've been longing to feel closer to God—but aren't sure what that looks like after becoming a mom—this study is for you.

I know how easy it is to get caught up in the craziness of summer with big kids home, summer sports, and vacations.

You tell yourself that you'll find time to get the house in order later, catch up on the laundry tomorrow, and actually make a healthy meal next week.

I want to remind you though that you don't have to do it all on your own. You can prioritize your health, your rest, and spending time with your kids.

Let me pick up the slack for you.

Sure you could hire a babysitter, call a cleaner or keep ordering take out, but with a postpartum doula, you get someone who is actually trained in newborn care. You get the babysitter, cleaner, and meal prep all in one. And a better one at that who is actually trained in postpartum care and postpartum nutrition.

Give yourself the reset you need to keep enjoying the rest of the summer and spending time enjoying your baby and kids, not worrying about everything you need to accomplish. Take a nap with the baby. Get a workout in. Sit in silence. Yap with me about everything going on in your brain. Whatever you need while I take care of you.

Pop up hours the next two weeks:
Wednesday, July 1st 12-4pm
Friday, July 3rd 9am-4pm
Wednesday, July 8th 12-4pm
Friday, July 10th 9am-4pm

Everybody talks about the baby.

Almost nobody talks about what happens to the marriage.

The exhaustion.
The resentment.
The touched-out feeling.
The identity shift.
The way intimacy can suddenly feel complicated when your nervous system is running on fumes.

n today’s episode, I sat down with postpartum doula Danielle Bruner to talk about what couples actually need during postpartum — and why support, emotional safety, and shared responsibility matter so much more than “getting back to normal.”

This conversation is for:
✨ pregnant couples
✨ new parents
✨ exhausted moms
✨ husbands who genuinely want to understand
✨ couples trying to reconnect after kids

Because s*x after babies is rarely just about s*x.

It’s about whether someone feels supported, overwhelmed, appreciated, invisible, desired, safe, or alone.

And honestly? The church has not prepared couples well for this season.

So let’s change that.

Come join us for our next Bump to Baby Circle meetup this Saturday, June 27th at 9:00 AM at Beaver Creek Reservation in Amherst!

We'll meet by the playground at 9:00 for a relaxed walk, and then stick around afterward so the kids can play while the grown-ups chat. Whether you're pregnant, newly postpartum, chasing toddlers, or somewhere in between, you're welcome here.

Everyone prepares for the birth of the baby. Almost no one prepares for the birth of the mother. đź’›

In this clip, shares a powerful reminder: while the baby is real and tangible, mom is transforming too.

Motherhood isn't just the arrival of a baby. It's the beginning of an entirely new identity, new responsibilities, new emotions, and a new version of you.

And yet, so many women walk into that transformation completely unprepared.

If you're pregnant or supporting a new mom, this conversation is one you don't want to miss.
