For Vanessa, doing laundry can cost around $20 at a time — money that can make a meaningful difference when you’re experiencing homelessness.

After nearly three years without stable housing, Vanessa shared with Invisible People that access to The Laundry Truck LA allows her to wash her clothes for free each week and use those dollars for other essential needs.

Laundry may feel routine, but the cost, transportation, and time involved can create another barrier for people already navigating housing insecurity.

That’s why we do what we do: providing reliable access to clean clothing with dignity, care, and no cost to our guests. 💛
