Autodesk's $200M investment in World Labs signals a belief that the next breakthrough in AI will come from understanding the physical world, not just generating text.

Founded by Fei-Fei Li, World Labs is developing "spatial intelligence" and world models that can reason about geometry, materials, physics, and 3D environments. These capabilities have enormous potential for industries like architecture, engineering, construction, and manufacturing.

For AECO, this points toward a future where AI understands context, space, and design intent, helping teams model, simulate, and build with greater intelligence. The future of AI is not just language. It's spatial.

The next frontier for AI? Understanding the real world, not just the digital one. World models are replacing LLMs as the next wave of AI investment and hype—and Fei-Fei Li's World Labs has first-mover advantage.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads helping build a better future, both at home and across the AECO industry. Fatherhood and building share a common purpose: creating strong foundations, planning for the future, and leaving something meaningful for the next generation.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, mentors, and role models whose leadership shapes families, projects, and communities alike.

Hello there, General Grievous.

Towering over the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art's “Star Wars in Motion” cinema exhibition, this recreation of General Grievous's Wheel Bike from Star Wars: Episode III only existed in CGI before our co-founder George Lucas sought to bring it to life for the museum. Check the link in bio to learn more and see the stunning first look inside the Lucas Museum.

We are proud to have sponsored CMAA Northern California Chapter's webinar, "The BIM Advantage: Reducing Project Risk."

The conversation was exactly what the industry needs more of. Alongside panelists from Roebbelen Contracting, Inc. and Kitchelll, we explored how BIM is shifting from a nice-to-have to a genuine risk mitigation tool on complex projects by improving coordination, reducing RFIs, and catching conflicts before they become change orders.

At TITAN AEC, this is the work we live and breathe. From scan-to-BIM workflows to full VDC coordination, we help project teams turn point clouds and design data into clarity, before ground is broken, not after. Thanks to CMAA NorCal for bringing together owners, CMs, and builders around conversations that actually move the needle.

If you missed the webinar and want to talk BIM strategy for your next project, let's connect.

One of the highlights of The American Institute of Architects Conference in San Diego was attending the Archi+Tech Social Night hosted by Niknaz Aftahi and aec+tech in partnership with CBT Architects.

This invite-only gathering brought together leaders across architecture, design technology, and innovation for meaningful conversations about the future of the built environment. It was a great opportunity to connect with professionals who are actively shaping how technology is transforming AEC.

A special thank you to Nirva Fereshetian from CBT Architects, who co-hosted the event alongside Niknaz Aftahi. This was the second year of the Archi+Tech Social Night, and it was great to see the event continue to grow and bring together such an engaged community.
Thank you to Niknaz, Nirva, aec+tech, and CBT Architects for creating such a thoughtful and engaging event.
