Let the season begin🌞. This was a solar electric "remove and replace modules" job for necessary roof work. (Technically, it already has begun, with the varied projects that fill our days. The scaffolding first went up in early April.)

Retrofitting a legacy🤩 (over 20 yrs old) system in November meant some great early sunsets. This system got new modules and new batteries as part of its makeover and should be good to go for many many more years.

This summer, President Donald Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act into law, ending various tax credits a decade ahead of schedule. The credits could be used to buy electric vehicles and to install solar panels on homes.

Many people have asked us about the timeline regarding the termination of the Federal Tax Credit for residential solar that was in the OBBB passed in July. It is our understanding that residential systems need to be fully installed by December 31, 2025 to be eligible for the credit.
