The Masters | Spring Sports Auction Preview

With the Masters underway at Augusta this weekend, we’re highlighting an early champion of the tournament.

Rare signed album page by Craig Wood, winner of the 1941 Masters Tournament and one of the leading American golfers of his era.

Wood’s 1941 season remains one of the most notable in tournament history, as he became the first player to win both the Masters and the U.S. Open in the same year.

This scarce autograph will be featured in our May 2026 Sports Auction.

SINATRA | 3.18 HISTORICAL & POP CULTURE

A name you do not often see on a baseball.

Official baseball signed by Frank Sinatra in black ink authenticated by .bas. Single-signed baseballs from Sinatra are extremely scarce, as the legendary entertainer seldom signed sports memorabilia.

Best known as one of the most influential performers of the 20th century, Sinatra remains an enduring icon of American music and film.

Perhaps not quite his way of signing items, which makes examples like this especially uncommon.

Presented in a blue studio-style cover with the triangular The Star Wars logo and signed by Carrie Fisher, who portrayed Princess Leia.

Only a few copies of this early production draft have surfaced at auction.

Timing played a major role in our strongest sports autograph results of 2025.

This Lew Alcindor autograph captures an early moment, signed during his rookie season under his birth name before becoming Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. In contrast, late signatures from Jackie Robinson and Roberto Clemente carried weight as pieces from the closing years of their lives.

Collectors consistently responded to sports autographs with clear historical context and strong preservation, including Jim Thorpe, Nile Kinnick, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Nap Lajoie, and others.

We are currently accepting sports autograph consignments for our upcoming 2026 auction schedule.
