I attended the Women’s Business Council – Southwest Women of Culture Mixer today, and I invited Kynya, owner of Clean Touch Colonics, to join me.

Kynya recently expanded her entrepreneurial journey by launching a training school designed to prepare others to enter the hydrocolon therapy field and build hydrocolon therapy businesses of their own. 👏🏾 That made today’s conversations around small business certifications, opportunities, and the legislative landscape especially timely.

One thing I’ve learned in business: you have to get in the room.

The right rooms expose you to information you didn’t know you needed, people you may not have otherwise met, and opportunities you can’t access if you’re always trying to build alone.

It’s always exciting to see growth happening right here in our community. ❤️

Today, I had the opportunity to attend a VIP event at Texas Health Hospital Mansfield and get a first look at the expansion of their Women’s Services program, including the newly expanded 11-bed Level II NICU and well-baby nursery.

There’s something different about seeing these spaces in person and understanding the impact they will have on moms, babies, and families who need this level of care close to home.

As a business owner and someone who believes strongly in being connected to the community where we live, work, and serve, I appreciate opportunities like this. Community growth isn’t just about new businesses and development. It’s also about strengthening the resources, services, and infrastructure that support the people who call our community home.

Thank you to Texas Health Hospital Mansfield for the invitation, the tour, and for continuing to invest in the families of Mansfield and our surrounding communities. 🏥✨
