So Body shop and Insurance 101. State Farm has now decided they are going to lower, not raise but lower what they will pay any body shop for labor. What you will see if you have State Farm that and difference in your repair will be paid for by you, the policy holder. There are a lot of shops across the country refusing to do work on a vehicle insured by State Farm. Read your policies well because they are now starting to write them where you will get stuck with your deductible and possibly part of the bill. Surprises you don’t need when you’re already having a bad day. If you have State Farm I highly suggest shopping around. Preferably an Insurance company that doesn’t spend millions on TV commercials. They are the ones that will leave you less than satisfied.
