Twain Lumber Company will invest $7.4 million to purchase and reopen the former Teal Jones sawmill in Henry County. Once operational, the facility is expected to create 74 new jobs and purchase more than $51.2 million in Virginia grown forest products over the next three years.

The investment will also bring the facility back into productive use, with upgrades that will increase its capacity and strengthen Henry County’s role in Virginia’s forestry industry.

We are grateful to Twain Lumber Company for investing in Henry County and to the state, federal and regional partners who helped make this project possible.
