While I do love taking clean, classic looking portraits I do also love to play with photography as well.

I was playing around with lighting and what's called shutter drag creating light streaks to create dynamic movement in a mainly stationary shot.

This type of photo is amazing for sports portraits and dance portraits as well. Being able to convey movement in a static image is always so dramatic and cool!

Yesterday, I got the opportunity to shoot the charity softball game between Snohomish County Fire District 21 and the Stilly Valley Little League Dads! It was to benefit the restoration of the field behind Arlington Heights Improvement Club. It was an absolute soaker of a game but also a lot of fun! I didn't get the superman slide into home I was trying to convince them to do but what are you gonna do?
