As well as offering consulting and art direction for, Films, T.V. Artistry In Motion is a collaboration of highly skilled artisans that provide the highest of quality of props and set dressing, as well as offering historical consultation and art direction for films, television productions, and museum displays. Artistry in Motion was founded in 2008 to fill a void in the film, television, and display fabrication fields. Noticing a lack of knowledgeable, highly motivated and dedicated persons available to the film industry, I set out to create a company that would gather historians, researchers, fabricators, and artisans who could not only work together, but also accomplish projects on a museum quality level. Jeremiah Hornbaker is an Art Director and founder of Artistry In Motion. With a unique combination of hIstorical knowledge, practical skills, and years of experience directing successful projects. Hornbaker manages all departments responsible for building the physical world which characters inhabit on screen. On historical productions, intimate knowledge of historical material culture, and methods are a necessity. With a background in historical research, interpretation, period construction and leather working techniques, Mr. Hornbaker is known for his incredible attention to detail, and limitless knowledge built over the course of his fifteen year career. His guidance and leadership on any production leads to an exemplary product, with a level of accuracy and realism which is rarely achieved in the film industry.
