❌ Never make a bad hire again.

We screen 1000's of resumes weekly at WorkfromPH.com and here's a list of our best practices to avoid bad hires (especially in today's Ai era):

1/ Mix Up Your Questions
- Ask some yes/no questions before shortlisting for interviews
- Chat about real work situations to see how people think

👍 Pro tip: If someone just says "I handled it" without details,
that's usually not good!

2/ Look for Problem Solvers
- Give them real work problems to solve
- Listen to how they explain their thinking
- Watch out for people who just give quick, simple answers

3/ Check Their Real Skills
- Ask them to show you what they've done before
- Don't just listen to jargons or buzz words - look for real experience
- Try giving them a quick hands-on test if you can

4/ Watch How They Talk and Work with Others
- Notice if they get defensive when you give feedback
- See if they can explain hard things in a simple way
- Look for clear, easy-to-follow answers

5/ Watch Out for Warning Signs
- Be careful if answers seem too vague
- Notice if someone always says "we" instead of telling you what they did
- Good people admit mistakes and share what they learned

6/ Keep Things Fair
- Ask everyone the same questions
- Give each person the same amount of time
- Take good notes so you can compare fairly
