Town Hall Theater is much more than just our historic building, lovingly restored in 2008. THT is a cultural anchor for Addison County and beyond; a shared resource for artists, non-profits (including over a dozen resident companies), businesses, and educators; and a destination that unites a diverse cross-section of our community around unique, shared experiences. THT is an inclusive, inviting space for everyone! Your support through ticket purchases, donations, and volunteering helps us continue to thrive with 165 events per year.

**EVERYTHING MUST GO THIS WEEK!**

We have a lot of office furniture left that must go this week before we move to our new space in the Duclos building next week.

Please email us to arrange a time to come look and/or pick up. Someone is almost always there 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; some of us are usually there later and can make arrangements to be there if needed. We will also be there most of the day this Saturday.

Whatever isn't taken must go to Hope/Goodwill or the dump.

We have a lot of really nice furniture left.

Our offices will be closed next week, Sept. 28th - Oct. 2nd as we officially move into our new space in the historic Duclos Building in the heart of Middlebury!

Our first official day in the new space will be Monday Oct. 5th!

Stay tuned for our Grand Opening/Annual Mixer save the date announcement!

We still have office furniture for sale! Feel free to reach out any day this week, or visit us this Saturday for our final sale before we move to our new location in the Duclos Building! We still have conference tables, round tables, desks, chairs, wooden cabinets, a tall metal storage cabinet, a wooden microwave kitchen cabinet/hutch, smaller rectangular tables, lots of coffee mugs, old coffee makers, and coffee carafes.

Don't miss Vermont's favorite biking farm tour on Saturday, September 19

We're returning to Middlebury for another epic Tour de Farms! Choose a family-friendly 8-mile route or the more adventurous 37-mile ride and enjoy the gorgeous pastoral views around Middlebury, VT, while sampling food from over 20 local vendors! The ride ends with a festive farmers market with even more local food and music, hosted by Experience Middlebury. The Vermont Department of Labor (VDOL) has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to reduce the financial barriers associated with designing, building, launching, or expanding a high-quality apprenticeship program that meets federal and state registration standards.

Registered Apprenticeship is a proven, employer-driven training model that combines on-the-job learning with related technical instruction. Registered programs provide workers with industry-recognized credentials and employers with a skilled, committed workforce pipeline. This grant supports the foundational work required to bring a new program to registration and/or design and launch a new occupational pathway in a current Registered Apprenticeship Program.

VDOL anticipates awarding up to eight (8) grants of up to $25,000 each, funded with federal funds from the State Apprenticeship Expansion Formula Round 4 grant.

**Grant Intake Form Deadline Extended** Friday, August 28th.

Grant opportunity alert!!! Are you a business owner with an idea for a project that would help create new or support existing jobs in Addison County? If so, read on!

ACEDC is helping local businesses apply for the Vermont Building Communities Grant Program, which provides up to $25,000 in matching funds for capital projects that support job creation or retention. Examples of eligible expenses include equipment purchases, facility improvements, renovations, and other shovel-ready capital investments.

Because ACEDC must submit applications on behalf of businesses, we're asking interested businesses to complete this short intake form by Friday, August 28th:

We'll review submissions and determine which projects are the best fit for this year's funding round.
