This year, JJ is celebrating 30 years with WTG!

A Midland native, JJ joined WTG in 1996 as Gas Contracts Manager and has grown alongside the company. Throughout his career, he has been driven by one thing above all else: building strong relationships.

Whether strengthening long-standing partnerships, creating new opportunities, or mentoring the next generation of leaders, JJ believes success comes from investing in people. One of his proudest accomplishments has been sharing what he has learned over three decades and watching others grow.

Our team had a great time at the 90th XIT Rodeo & Reunion in Dalhart, TX, over the weekend!

From the rodeo and parade to BBQ at the WTG tents and time spent with the community, it was a memorable few days. One highlight of the weekend: WTG’s parade float, “Rooted in Tradition, Driven by Innovation” won Best Overall.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 90th XIT Rodeo & Reunion one to remember. We’re grateful to be part of a tradition that continues to bring the Dalhart community together year after year.

We Are WTG | Jack Sparlin – Training Program Manager

This year, Jack is celebrating 32 years with WTG!

From District Manager and Area Manager to his current role as Training Program Manager, Jack has dedicated his career to helping others grow. His passion for hands-on training recently earned him the Texas Gas Association's Trainer of the Year award.

Outside of work, you'll find Jack in his shop welding, machining parts, and restoring vintage equipment. After more than three decades, he continues to do what he does best: build, teach, and leave things better than he found them.
