In 1936, Herb Elliott founded Elliott Flying Service on a grass airstrip in DeWitt, Iowa. Alongside his wife and business partner, Arlene, he built a company rooted in hard work, strong relationships, and a passion for aviation.

What began as a small aviation business has grown into Elliott Aviation, serving aircraft owners and operators across the country through maintenance, avionics, paint, interior, aircraft sales, and more.

As we celebrate 90 years, we're taking a look back at the people who started it all and the foundation they built nine decades ago.
