THESE ARE NOT SCRAP METAL!

Whole valves tanks of any kind are not accepted at scrap yards.

Propane, oxygen, nitrogen, accumulators……anything pressurized, explosive, flammable, reactive (I know
I’m missing some others but you get the idea)
can all be catastrophic when they accidentally make it into a scrap pile, a crusher, a shear, a shredder, or a mill.

Please don’t hide these in your loads!

RS Recycling is looking to hire 2 hardworking people for 2 different positions

🚗 Scrap Yard Laborer – Part-Time / Full-Time (25–40 Hours)

We are hiring a dependable, hardworking team member to join our scrap yard team. This position offers 25–40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday (hours may vary).

Job Duties:
• Breaking down motors
• Processing wire harnesses
• Breaking down radiators
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift, reach, and carry 75+ pounds
• Mechanically inclined
• Knowledge of working on and/or processing vehicles
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with customers and coworkers in a professional manner

This is a physically demanding position. We’re looking for someone dependable who shows up ready to work.

🔧 Automotive Scrap Processor – Full-Time (45+ Hours)

We are hiring a motivated, experienced individual for a full-time position (minimum 45 hours per week), Monday through Saturday.

Job Duties:
• Pulling automotive parts
• Processing vehicles, including:
• Removing fluids
• Removing catalytic converters
• Removing batteries
• Removing tires and rims
• Breaking down tires
• Maintaining an organized and safe work area

Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift, reach, and carry 75+ pounds
• Mechanically inclined
• Experience working on vehicles and/or vehicle processing
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with customers and coworkers in a professional manner

This position requires strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

We will be having open interviews this Saturday 9am till 12pm
Please bring a resume, 3 references, and prior work history.

Compensation is based on experience, skills, and mechanical ability. Pay will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process. Please do not call regarding this position. Calling ties up our phone lines and prevents us from assisting customers.
