Low beams aimed down at the road are the right call. Two notes for the weekend: trick or treaters are out tomorrow night, so take it slow through neighborhoods, and the clocks fall back Sunday, which means your drive home just got dark.

Myth Buster Friday: hazard lights help other drivers see you in heavy rain. While you are moving, they mostly cause confusion. Hazards hide your brake lights and turn signals, so nobody can tell what you are about to do, and in many states using them while driving is not legal. Slow down, use your low beams, and save the hazards for when you are actually stopped.
