Myth Buster Friday: any tow truck can handle any vehicle. Not true, and getting it wrong causes damage. All-wheel drive vehicles generally should not be towed with wheels on the ground, and low or lowered cars can get torn up loading onto the wrong equipment. Tell whoever answers the phone what you drive. The right truck matters more than the closest one.

Myth Buster Friday: you can drive a short distance on a completely flat tire. Even a mile will destroy the tire, and it often takes the wheel with it. Brake lines, sensors, and suspension components sit right there too. If you are flat, get safely off the road and stop. A tire is cheap compared to what driving on it costs.
