The Development Authority of Clayton County hosted its 2nd Annual State of the Development Authority (SODA) on May 1 at the Delta Flight Museum, bringing together elected officials, business leaders, and regional stakeholders to highlight the progress and priorities shaping Clayton County’s economic future.
During the program, Chairman Dr. C. H. Braddy outlined key indicators of growth, including continued investment in small businesses through the Momentum 500 initiative, expanded workforce development efforts, and ongoing strategic partnerships driving regional alignment.
The event also featured a significant announcement with the selection of Maceo Rogers, CEcD, as the Authority’s next President and Chief Executive Officer; marking a leadership transition focused on advancing Clayton County’s economic trajectory.
