329 CLAYTON COUNTY JOBS SAVED. $17 MILLION IN PAYROLL. 72 HOURS TO ACT.

When hundreds of Clayton County jobs were at risk, the Development Authority of Clayton County moved fast.

A rapid $25 million inducement helped keep 329 jobs and approximately $17 million in annual payroll right here in Clayton County; while preserving second-chance employment opportunities for justice-impacted workers.

🇺🇸 25 Years Later, We Remember.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001; a day forever etched into the history of our nation.

The Development Authority of Clayton County joins communities across America in honoring the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families who endured unimaginable loss, and all whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we remember not only the tragedy of that day, but the courage, unity, service, and resilience that followed.

May we continue to honor their memory by remembering what brought us together.

Real Estate Investment & Development Forum | Recap
The “builders” were in the room and the conversations mattered.
Clayton County’s Real Estate Investment & Development Forum brought together leaders, developers, brokers, investors, and economic development partners for meaningful conversations centered on opportunity, investment, and the future of development in our county.

With the focused efforts of the new President and CEO, Maceo Rogers, The Forum demonstrated what is possible when we create a unified platform for collaboration; connecting decision-makers with opportunity, strengthening relationships with the development community, and creating new pathways for investment and business growth.
