LeadingAge’s Leadership Academy helps aging services professionals acquire critical skills and core competencies to have the most impact as leaders.

The LeadingAge Tennessee Leadership Academy is a year-long leadership development program designed to cultivate emerging and established leaders across the aging services field. Through interactive learning, collaboration, and real-world experiences, participants strengthen the skills needed to lead their organizations and advance the profession.

Academy Fellows will grow through a mix of learning experiences designed to be engaging and practical—combining thoughtful discussions, hands-on site visits, and opportunities to learn from one another. Along the way, they receive leadership coaching and connect with experienced voices from across the aging services field, creating a supportive and collaborative learning journey that will continue long after graduation from the Academy.

At this year’s Hallmark Homecare National Convention, held at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, California, Brandon and Jenelle Baily, owners of Hallmark Homecare Nashville (North, East, and South), were honored with the prestigious Cornerstone Award. What an amazing day at the Tennessee Christian Chamber of Commerce - TNCCC.

The room was full of energy, new connections were being made, and there were so many great conversations happening throughout the room.

A special thank you to our keynote speaker and fellow TNCCC member, Dave Weill, owner of Steak ’n Shake in Murfreesboro, for sharing “Not My Plan: Experiencing God in the Unexpected.” Dave reminded us that God’s plans often look different from our own and challenged us to lead with compassion, recognize the people God places in front of us, and remain open to where He may be leading.

Every day, we have an opportunity to choose who we do business with, carry our faith into the marketplace, serve people well, build strong relationships, lead with biblical principles, and use our businesses and influence for Kingdom impact.

I spent the day at the Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc., Middle TN Caring and Coping Caregiver Workshop at Harpeth Hills Church of Christ. This program is designed specifically for family and professional caregivers supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. It was a great day of learning alongside longtime friends and industry professionals. Thank you Cheryl Blanchard and Robyn Arab for all your hard work, well done!

We were honored to sponsor the Walter J. Baird Middle School Devilettes soccer team for their outstanding season in Wilson County.

​Under the leadership of Coach Jerett Cushing, the Devilettes demonstrated incredible teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship. Highlights of their impressive season include:
​• 3rd Place finish in league play
• Advancing to the 2nd Round of the District Tournament
• Securing victory in the "Battle of the Blues" and retaining the trophy against their cross-town rivals
