Here in Nashville, Paul Witten, founder of Nashville Adventures and veteran entrepreneur, is part of that same tradition of veterans building businesses and communities.

That’s why the EC is bringing veteran founders together through Founders Circles for a Veterans Happy Hour at Silver Belly Distillery.

Founders Circles creates spaces for underrepresented founders, including women, LGBTQ+, veterans, and founders of color, to connect, share ideas, access opportunities, and build lasting relationships.

We’re officially underway! 🚀

Yesterday, we welcomed our newest TakeOff and InFlight founders to the EC, and the energy was unmatched.

This cohort is a big one for TakeOff, with a record number of founders joining the program. To make sure everyone gets the support and space they need, we’ve split the group into AM + PM sessions.

Now the real work begins. 💪

Over the next 12 weeks, our founders will learn, build, test, connect, and push their businesses forward.

And we already have our eyes on the finish line: seeing them take the stage at Nashville Entrepreneur Day Winter 2026 at GEODIS Park to pitch what they’ve built. 🎤

Nashville has lost one of its greatest builders. ❤️

Dolly Parton passed away today at 80, leaving behind a legacy that reaches far beyond music.

In 2019, Dolly was inducted into the Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s Entrepreneurs’ Hall of Fame for the impact she made as an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community builder.

Through the Dollywood Foundation, Imagination Library, and so much more, Dolly showed us that building a successful business is only part of the story.

The real legacy is what you build for others.

Dolly built opportunity. She built community. She gave back. And she left Nashville and Tennessee better than she found them.

We’re honored to have celebrated her as one of Nashville’s entrepreneurial legends.

Rest easy, Dolly. Your legacy lives on. 🦋
