My wife always asks me what I actually did today… because technically, I don’t “work for anyone.”

The truth is, life as an entrepreneur usually falls into three categories:

1️⃣ Chasing money
Writing ads. Responding to customers. Building relationships. Writing estimates. Networking. Billing. Bookkeeping.

2️⃣ Spending money
Tools. Equipment. Materials. Fuel. Ads. Maintenance. “Quick trips” to Harbor Freight and Lowe’s that somehow cost $300.

3️⃣ Making money
Actually doing the work I fought to win in the first place.

Most people only see #3.
They see the fresh-cut lawn, the repair, the finished project, or the cash in your hand.

They don’t see the late nights behind the computer, the supply runs, the truck packed with materials, the research, the scheduling, or the constant balancing act of running every part of the business yourself.

The good news?
$1,000 days are a lot easier now than they used to be.

The bad news?
They still take all three categories working together at the same time.

That’s entrepreneurship.
Freedom, stress, responsibility, risk… and honestly a pretty good feeling when it all comes together.

Wouldn’t trade it.
