Everyone may black out in the interview—but they always remember what they wore.
Today’s teaser: my 6 guests on their AW interview outfits—Balenciaga suits, Manolos two sizes too small, vintage Gaultier… and a lot of money spent at Bergdorf’s the night before.
As for me—Lauren Weisberger may have gotten the basics right. I did wear leather pants and a white sweater, but she definitely took a little creative license with the rest: “She wore black leather pants so tight that they appeared to have been spray-painted on, a white tank top cropped just above her belly button, and black ankle boots with three-inch heels. She managed to look incredibly sexy, semi-naked, and classy all at the same time…” (pp. 20–21)
That said, I’ll take the part about looking sexy and classy—that’s always been my vibe. 😉
