ASLA-NY is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 ASLA-NY Grants for the ASLA National Conference. This year, the National Conference Grant provides a total of $2,500 to two grant winners. The grant winner receives $1,500, and the runner-up receives $1,000, toward the cost of attending the annual ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture in Los Angeles.

Join ASLA-NY, the Olana Partnership, and Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects for an in-depth afternoon at Olana State Historic Site, exploring the landscape, architecture, and ongoing stewardship of one of America’s most significant cultural landscapes.

The NBW team will present the full arc of the project, from the creation of a Strategic Landscape Design Plan to the subsequent implementation and rehabilitation projects. Following the presentation, NBW will lead site tours featuring the rehabilitation efforts to restore Church’s vision and accommodate Olana’s programmatic and operational needs.

For the ASLA Members, the tour will be followed by an Open Studio at Wagner Hodgson Landscape Architecture in Hudson from 5 – 6:30 PM.
