Esther is currently a pre-med student at The University of Oklahoma, taking time out of her busy studies to share her heart, time, and comforting "sweet presence" with our hospice patients. Bringing compassionate future healthcare leaders into our volunteer program is such a blessing, and we know her dedication to "Passion Inspired Care" will shine through in every visit.

🇺🇸 Honoring Those Who Served 🇺🇸

One of our amazing Centric Hospice volunteers, Kirk, recently discovered that USAA is honoring millions of service members through the National Military Monument, a special memorial display in Washington, D.C.

So, we did something pretty special. ❤️

We spent time visiting with veterans at the VA in Norman (Oklahoma Veterans Homes), entering their names into the memorial, and finding their name displayed on the wall among millions of others who have served our country.

There is something incredibly powerful about seeing your own name—or the name of someone you love—recognized and honored in that way.

For our veterans, their service is part of their story. At Centric Hospice, we are grateful for opportunities like this that allow our volunteers to slow down, listen to those stories, and remind our veterans that their service is remembered, appreciated, and honored. 🇺🇸
