We want to give a special congratulations to a young lady we're very proud of!
Many of you may remember her from our LumberJack Christmas, where she spent time leading the craft table and helping create memories for so many families. This week, she was named the Virginia FFA Star Farmer of the Year — an incredible accomplishment and a reflection of her hard work, dedication, and love for agriculture.
What makes this recognition even more special is that she represents the future of an industry we care deeply about. Agriculture and forestry are built by young people willing to work hard, learn, and carry on traditions that matter. She has done exactly that.
We are excited to watch all that God has in store for her future. Congratulations Campbell on this well-deserved honor. We’re cheering you on!!

Year THREE of LumberJack Christmas starts long before the lights go up and the trees arrive. 🎄❤️ Summer vacation means the girls are back at their wood-burning projects, creating new pieces for the Christmas Barn and making memories along the way. It's become one of our favorite traditions. 🔥🪵✨🎄

Another Hokie in the yard and another good hand on the team 🧡
Erin recently joined our crew and will be helping lead our retail yard, office operations, Facebook content, our Christmas Barn, and even a little of the cattle side of things too. With her love for education and passion for connecting with people, we’re excited for her to help tell the story behind the lumber industry and share the importance of the work done here each day.
Family has always been at the heart of this business, and we’re thankful for people who value hard work, community, and serving others well. From the sawmill to the retail yard, the cattle fields, and all the way through Christmas season at the barn - we're proud to continue growing with people who want to help share and preserve this industry and way of life.

We love any chance to share and educate about the lumber industry, especially when it's a special little visitor stopping in-
Today turned into a sawmill field trip with the baby cousin visiting for a tour, complete with a loader ride, a look inside the sawyer’s cab, and even getting to saw a few boards himself.
He watched it all pretty closely like a seasoned pro…..then informed us we might need to speed up production. Noted. 😄
Days like this are the best reminder of why we do it—getting to work with something we love, share it with others, and see it through fresh eyes all over again.
