Headed to in Anaheim, CA, aka the Super Bowl of the natural foods/CPG world! I started my career as an educator, now I’m the co-founder of BBQ sauce company, and in this moment I’ve had to pause and recognize how much life can change.

We launched as a love letter to the flavors of the equator and our moms who always believed real food = better food.

This is the biggest food trade show of the year. We weren’t planning on going until we’d “grown up” a bit more, but mentors and friends came out of the woodwork to rally around me, get me a badge, a plane ticket, and a chance to meet all the big names in this world. Wish us luck and I’ll show you around as I bop around the show!

Our girl killed it at the Showcase Day! 🧨

We’ve spent the last 3 months in an intense business accelerator program. It culminated last night in New York City with our first big pitch in front of 250+ people. We spoke about big flavor, bigger dreams, and our unreal team leading the charge to give tamarind the flavor platform it deserves. Chef Jim served up delicious samples and sneak peeks (tastes) of future skus, converting some new friends into true Tamarind Heads.

Every small business has big moments. This was one of ours. Thanks for following our journey…so much more to come!!

Disclaimer: is not effective at clearing snow. You cannot throw bottles of at snow piles ❄️ and make them disappear, not even our spiciest bottle works. We tried. Still delicious though.

Throw it on a spiced beef stew or some chilli or chole. That definitely works. 👌🏽
