More people finding their place in the game. That’s the impact worth celebrating behind Jake Bader’s latest honor.

Congratulations to Portland Parks Golf Director of Player Development Jake Bader, winner of the 2026 Oregon Chapter PGA Player Development Award!

At Colwood Golf Center alone, Jake and his team have welcomed over 2,000 individual program participants who have made nearly 7,000 property visits through September. That includes nearly 700 junior participants building their skills and confidence through golf.

Across the four courses he serves, Jake helps create opportunities for golfers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities through PGA HOPE, Special Olympics, adaptive golf, junior programs and beginner clinics. His work gives people more ways to get started, connect with others and keep enjoying the game.

This recognition belongs alongside the teammates and mentors Jake credits for making that work possible. We’re proud to celebrate their shared effort and cheer Jake on as he advances for consideration in the Pacific Northwest Section PGA Annual Awards.

Congratulations, Jake!

More fun. More to experience. More reasons to come together.

Yesterday, we joined the City of Henderson and our project partners to cut the ribbon at Henderson Sport & Social. Today, the doors officially open, kicking off a grand opening weekend and welcoming the community to 180,000 square feet of fun.

Part family entertainment center, part community gathering place, part competitive sports destination, Henderson Sport & Social has it all. From basketball and volleyball to bowling, mini golf, an arcade, and food and beverage, it’s built around the ways people love to play and connect.

Thank you to the City of Henderson Government, our Henderson Sport & Social and KemperSports Venues teams, Whiting-Turner, Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors and the many project partners whose work brought this vision to life. From design and construction to our operations teams, this milestone reflects a shared commitment to creating something special for the Henderson community and those who visit.

Now comes the best part: our team gets to welcome the community in, help guests find their favorite ways to play and give them reasons to return for years to come.

Let’s play, Henderson!

For the athletes who took the court at Mansfield Fieldhouse, it was a chance to compete, get noticed and work toward what’s next.

Shalin Hoops’ Southwest Showcase brought 75 women’s JUCO basketball teams from 15 states to Mansfield, giving players the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college coaches.

We’re proud of our Mansfield Fieldhouse team and grateful to Shalin Hoops for a partnership that brings opportunities for aspiring athletes to life. A weekend like this connects athletes to possibilities, brings visitors into the community and shows what a sports venue can make possible.

Some of our best teammates leave paw prints.

For eight years, Abe, a German shorthaired pointer on Dismal River Club’s outdoor recreation team, helped turn days in the field into memories members took home.

He brought his best every day, working in step with his fellow bird dogs and greeted the job with a wagging tail. Abe embodied all five of our TrueService pillars in his own way, reminding us that great service comes from enthusiasm, teamwork and care for every part of the guest experience.

That care extended to his handlers, Wynn Wiens and Joe Studdard, whose dedication to Abe and his four-legged teammates made those moments possible.

As we honor Abe after his recent journey across the rainbow bridge, we’re celebrating the joy he shared, the memories he helped create and the service culture he brought to life.

Rest easy, good boy. You did good. 🐾

Across the KemperSports family, our teams continue to find creative ways to support the life-changing mission of Folds of Honor, from golf marathons and tournaments to concerts, scrambles, parties and more.

This year alone, more than 80 of our properties have come together to raise over $300,000 for Folds of Honor, helping provide educational opportunities for the families of America’s fallen heroes and disabled service members.

A special shoutout to those teams who've recently joined in on the fundraising fun:

Riverwalk Golf Club
Janesville Golf Courses - Riverside & Blackhawk
Hawthorn Woods Country Club
Iron Horse Golf Course
Tidewater Golf Club

We're proud of the passion and creativity our teams bring to this important mission, and grateful to every golfer, guest, partner and community member who continues to show up and support the cause.

More than a number, it's a collective commitment to making a difference.

One year of Fields at Station 63. ⚾️🥎

Since opening its doors last September, this dynamic venue has quickly become a destination for tournaments, leagues, camps, community events and plenty of memories in Mansfield.

We’re proud of our team and all they’ve done to bring the facility to life over the past year, and grateful for our partnership with the City of Mansfield as we work together to make Fields at Station 63 a place the community can be proud of.

With year one in the books, we’re excited for everything year two will bring.

A double win for our Central Valley teams. 🏆

Our team at Creekside Golf Course recently earned gold for best public golf course in the 2026 Best of 209 Awards, while Swenson Park Golf Course captured bronze in the same category.

And the recognition continues for Swenson Park, which was also named this year's best public course by San Joaquin Magazine.

These honors are a reflection of the teams behind both courses who show up every day to create exceptional guest and golfer experiences for their communities. We’re proud of the work they’re doing and even prouder to see it recognized by the people they serve.

Congratulations, Creekside and Swenson Park teams!
