Today was a very special day as we celebrated my wife’s first anniversary with First Command. I am incredibly proud of all she has accomplished in just one year, earning her Certificate of Recognition and receiving her first diamond. As if that wasn't enough, she also received her certificate for membership in Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociology Honor Society. Thank you to our amazing team for making this celebration so memorable. Congratulations, Wendy, on your hard work and success!

Honored to be part of the CPO Spouse Connect event and witness the incredible support available to military spouses. It was a privilege to meet Surinder Goode, Wendy Poling, Wendy Traylor, and so many others dedicated to strengthening our military community. Having my wife attend and connect with spouses who share similar experiences made the event especially meaningful. It was also great meeting Mark Nguyen, fellow First Command Advisors, and working alongside him to share resources and information with military spouses. So grateful for the opportunity to help connect families with valuable resources and support.
Programs like this remind us that military spouses supporting active-duty service members and veterans are never alone. Their voices matter, their sacrifices are valued, and their community stands with them every step of the way.

Yesterday was back to school day, and seeing my kids all grown up filled me with pride and happiness. Watching them head off to school reminds me that they are the future, and each one is beginning an exciting new chapter.
Marcus is now a junior, Branson is starting his first year of high school, and Raven is a proud first grader. As if that wasn't enough excitement, Alex will be starting college in just two weeks. And I'm incredibly proud of my wife, Wendy, who will also begin her university classes in two weeks as she starts her senior year.
It is amazing to see my family growing, learning, and chasing their dreams. As a parent, there is no greater joy than watching your loved ones step confidently into their future. "Success is not measured by how far you've come, but by the courage to keep moving forward toward your dreams."

We were grateful for the opportunity to provide complimentary pastries for the USO Coffee Connection event, bringing military spouses together for connection and community.
