Jacobson Engineering was created in October of 2013 by Joel Jacobson, a professional engineer to provide entrepreneurs and businesses the opportunity to bring their ideas or products to life. Jacobson Engineering specializes in mechanical component development/design and optimization using applied mechanics and computational modeling and simulation. Jacobson Engineering also works with clients in
developing technical drawings and analysis for patent submission. Just a little bit about myself, I graduated with a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Utah State University in 2008, have worked in the aerospace/defense industry for over five years as an F-16 structural engineer, acquired professional engineering certification through the state of Utah in 2013, created Jacobson Engineering LLC in October of 2013, and acquired an M.S. in aeronautics and astronautics engineering through Purdue University's graduate program. I have experience in working with aerospace grade aluminum alloys, glass/phenolic, graphite epoxy, and glass composites, various grades of steel, and other materials.
