Hurricane Harvey & NASMM

If we had a major earthquake in the South Puget Sound area I would have probably needed Depends or adult diapers for Christy if I couldn't get out to buy them. So I am telling you this is a really need for the Assisted Living or Adult Family Homes in the Texas area affected by Hurricane Harvey. Please share this post with your friends and do whatever we can to help these poor people. We gather as a community when disaster hits these poor individuals. Elderly ignore heat warnings — because they're not old

Age matters when it comes to the affects of summer heat. Sixty may be the new forty for some things, but higher temperatures will have their way with older adults whether they consider themselves elderly or not.

If you are packing and moving this summer, pay particular attention to your body. Drink plenty of water. Work only in the cooler parts of the day. Don't ignore heat warnings!
