We say "EPS" all the time... but what even is it?

EPS stands for Expanded Polystyrene, a lightweight, durable foam that's made up of about 98% air.

Despite being mostly air, it's incredibly effective at insulating and protecting products, making it a go-to material for temperature-sensitive shipping, protective packaging and many construction applications.

At Plastilite, EPS is what we know best. It's the material behind many of the products we manufacture to help businesses protect what matters most.
