We are excited to share that two free Set Aside Clinics will take place on Friday, October 23, one in Florence and one in Eugene. The Florence clinic is open to all coastal residents in and around the Florence community.
Since October 2023, Restored Connections Peer Center, Public Defender Services of Lane County, and Lane Workforce Partnership have teamed up to host free Set Aside Clinics across Lane County. A criminal record can block people from jobs and housing long after their sentence is done. These clinics help eligible community members seal past convictions and get a real fresh start. Opportunity Oregon is now serving as the clinic’s lead, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the role!
📊 By the numbers: 424 individuals have filed to set aside their criminal histories through these clinics.
