Meet Julie Shott, Secretary of the Orting Business Association.

Julie and her husband, Billy, recently moved to Orting and are the owners of The Madison Team Office Furniture. With a lifetime of experience in the office furniture industry, Julie has worked in every aspect of creating professional office spaces, from design and planning to installation and project management.

Julie is passionate about community involvement and connection. She has served on several boards, been a dedicated Rotarian for 25 years, and loves building relationships that help businesses and communities thrive.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, including her six daughters and seventeen grandchildren.

We’re excited to have Julie’s experience, leadership, and community spirit as part of the OBA leadership team.

The Orting Friends of the Library are hosting a book sale on Saturday, April 25th from 11 AM to 3 PM in the Library’s Multipurpose Center.

Meet Sandra Robb, Treasurer of the Orting Business Association.

Sandra is the owner of Capital Tax Services, a firm she founded in Kent in 1989. She helps individuals and businesses with everything tax-related, from preparation to solving more complex tax issues, and has years of experience representing clients at every level, including tax court.

She truly loves being part of the community and gives back through professional organizations, her church, and local involvement.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and cheering on the Seattle Sounders.

We’re so grateful to have her knowledge, heart, and dedication as part of the OBA leadership team.

Ellen is a Public Affairs Specialist with the SBA’s Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience, where she helps connect homeowners, renters, businesses, and nonprofits with critical resources during times of disaster.

With a background in journalism from the University of Oregon and a passion for supporting communities, Ellen will be sharing valuable insights on how the SBA supports small businesses before, during, and after unexpected events.
