When I started Eighty-One Eleven, I had a vision for building something rooted in people, purpose, and doing the right thing…..even when it’s hard. What I could not have fully imagined was the incredible community that would help bring that vision to life.

Seven years later, I can say with full confidence: we are where we are today because of people who believed.

To our team thank you for showing up every day with heart and for truly living our core values of passion, integrity, and commitment. You care deeply about the work, our clients, and one another. You believe in doing things the right way, leading with honesty, and never settling for transactional relationships. What we’ve built is because of you.

To our clients thank you for trusting us by inviting us into some of the most important, challenging, and meaningful moments within your organizations. We never take lightly the trust you place in us, and it is an honor to walk alongside you.

To our partners thank you for seeing value in what we do, championing our work, and growing alongside us. Your belief in us has meant more than you know, and we hope you know how deeply we believe in you, too.

Seven years in business has come with lessons, growth, challenges, pivots, celebrations, and moments that stretched us, but through it all, one thing has remained true: people matter.

Through our ongoing monthly Partnership Services, we support payroll in your system of choice, including:
• Reimbursements, garnishments, and benefit deductions
• Employee and company updates (pay rates, direct deposit, withholdings, etc.)
• Payroll processing, including hours worked and PTO tracking
• W-2 processing and paycheck support
• Post-payroll reporting and compliance monitoring

A lot of HR providers learn on the fly. And while experience matters, so does foundation.

Our team brings both.

We have professionals who are formally educated in HR. They chose this field, studied it, and built their careers around it. Others come from backgrounds like psychology, giving them a deeper understanding of behavior, communication, and what actually drives people at work.

It’s not just about checking boxes or staying compliant. It’s about knowing the “why” behind what we do and using that to support teams in a more thoughtful, effective way.

That difference shows up in how we guide, advise, and partner with our clients every day.

Join us in congratulating McKenna on an incredible achievement! 🎓

She is graduating from Missouri Southern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a minor in General Business, and a certificate in Clinical and Counseling Psychology.

As a first-generation college student, McKenna navigated her college journey without a roadmap, balancing professional and academic commitments. In 2023, McKenna was honored for her talent and dedication with the Rebecca Blair Hughes and Joplin Globe Journalism Award.

She’s ready for what comes next, whether in HR, recruiting, or community-based work, and remains committed to building strong teams and environments where people feel valued. Our team will continue to champion her growth as she steps into this next chapter.

Workplace stress, burnout, and constant change aren’t new. But how we respond to them matters more than ever.

This month is a good reminder that supporting mental health at work doesn’t have to be complicated. It can start with simple things, like encouraging time off, checking in with your team, creating space for honest conversations, and making sure resources are actually accessible.

Policies matter. Benefits matter. But culture is what people feel every day. And the workplaces that get this right aren’t perfect they’re intentional.
