A great interview can tell you someone interviews well.
It doesn’t necessarily tell you how she’ll behave when:
→ your toddler won’t nap
→ your 8-year-old is melting down
→ the schedule changes
→ you’re running 45 minutes late
→ your child is sick
→ your parenting preferences differ
→ something unexpected happens
That’s where hiring gets complicated.
Because likability is not the same thing as compatibility.
And experience isn’t the same thing as judgment.
The best nanny for your family isn’t necessarily the most impressive candidate you meet.
She’s the one whose skills, temperament, instincts and working style actually fit your household.
That’s the difference between interviewing candidates and evaluating fit.
Would you know how to test for that in your next interview?
