Our September Coffee Meet is coming up, and we would love to welcome both familiar faces and first-time guests.

Coffee Meet is a free monthly gathering for local business owners, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, professionals, and anyone looking to become more connected within the Palm Coast business community.

There are no membership fees, no formal networking structure, and no pressure to give a sales pitch. It is simply an hour to enjoy coffee, meet people from different industries, exchange ideas, and discover ways we can support one another locally.

Grief does not follow a schedule, and support should not end when the service is over.

Our new monthly Grief Share Group will meet again on Wednesday, September 2.

This free gathering is open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a family member, friend, or loved one. You do not need to have used Lotus Funeral Services to attend.

We will gather in a casual, peaceful setting with light refreshments and conversation about the realities of grief, navigating difficult “firsts,” and finding ways to move forward while continuing to honor the people we love.

You are welcome to share, listen, ask questions, or simply be present. There is no pressure to speak and no expectation that you should be at any particular point in your grief journey.

Caring for someone living with Parkinson’s can be deeply meaningful, but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding. Caregivers spend so much time supporting the person they love that their own need for connection and encouragement can easily be overlooked.

This free monthly group offers a welcoming place to share experiences, ask questions, listen, or simply spend time with people who understand the caregiving journey.

You do not need to prepare anything, and you are never required to speak. Come exactly as you are.

Grief has a way of making familiar places feel unfamiliar.

For many people, one of the hardest steps after losing someone they love is simply walking into a funeral home again.

That's one of the reasons we're introducing our new monthly Grief Share Group.

When Lotus was designed, I intentionally wanted it to feel different from what many people expect. Instead of the traditional funeral home atmosphere, our space was created to feel open, peaceful, and welcoming. More like visiting a beautiful coastal home than a place associated only with loss.

This free monthly gathering is open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one, whether that was a spouse, parent, child, family member, or close friend. You do not have to have used Lotus Funeral Services to attend.

We'll enjoy light refreshments in a relaxed setting while talking about the realities of grief, navigating life's ""firsts,"" and finding healthy ways to continue moving forward while honoring those we love. I'll also share information about future programs, including Coping with Colors, and other opportunities designed to support our community.

If you've been looking for a place where you can simply be yourself and know you're understood, I hope you'll join us.
