Founder and CEO Bonnie Lucas became involved in the law enforcement industry in 1994 when she learned about the ongoing demand for hiring off-duty officers. It used to be difficult for companies to hire police officers as the police departments required specific forms of insurance. Furthermore, police departments did not have the staffing to coordinate their officers off-duty work. Bonnie created the Phoenix-based security firm Law Enforcement Specialists, Inc. to address this need and has been "putting the law on your side" ever since. Our company is licensed through the Arizona department of safety, and works exclusively with commissioned police officers, who will arrive at their assignment on time, wearing a uniform, a badge, and carrying a gun.
