Scenario: A 78-year-old widower has recently been hospitalized. His daughter is helping from out of state and discovers that bills are piling up, insurance paperwork is unopened, and there is no clear system for managing his finances or healthcare decisions. He is still able to express his wishes, but day-to-day management has become overwhelming.

This is a common point at which a fiduciary may be needed.

A licensed fiduciary can step in under the appropriate legal authority to help organize financial records, pay bills, coordinate with professionals, and carry out the person’s stated wishes. Depending on the situation, that authority may come through a power of attorney, trust, or court appointment.

A fiduciary is not a replacement for family—it is a professional role focused on acting in the person’s best interest, documenting decisions, and managing responsibilities that have become difficult for others to handle alone.

Situations that often prompt a fiduciary discussion include:
~Increasing difficulty paying bills or managing accounts
~Family members living in different states
~Complex trust or estate administration
~Cognitive or physical decline affecting daily management
~Family conflict about who should handle responsibilities

✨ Alex Greene, Senior Property Manager
Alex joined the fiduciary industry in 2021 after building a successful career in real estate, relocation services, nonprofit leadership, and event coordination. With a degree in Business Marketing and more than a decade of real estate experience, Alex brings extensive knowledge and a client-focused approach to property management.

✨ Rebekah "Bekah" Rock, Property Assistant
Bekah joined CFS in April 2024 and brings valuable experience from both family law and estate planning environments. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to client service make her an integral part of the Property Team. Bekah's diverse educational background includes an associate degree in Forensic Science along with certifications in crime scene investigation and fingerprint identification/photography.

Together, Alex and Bekah help ensure that all property receives the care, oversight, and attention it deserves. Their dedication supports our mission of providing compassionate and professional fiduciary services to those who rely on us.

✨ Karen Negrete – Estate Administrator
Karen combines over 15 years of paralegal experience with more than two decades in banking, creating a well-rounded foundation for serving our clients with care and professionalism. An Arizona native, Karen enjoys crafts, sewing, time with her grandchildren, and helping make a positive difference in people’s lives.

✨ Cindy Ross – Estate Administrator
With extensive experience in financial management, HR, and business operations, Cindy brings both organizational expertise and compassion to CFS. When she’s not supporting clients, she enjoys cooking, gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and two dogs.

This week we’re celebrating two incredible years with Rebekah, our amazing Administrative Assistant/Property Assistant who truly does it all. From keeping our phones running smoothly, to managing schedules, to assisting with property management —she is the backbone of our daily operations.

Rebekah is incredibly smart, detail-oriented, and somehow manages to handle more in a single day than most could in a week. Her ability to juggle so many responsibilities with professionalism and grace never goes unnoticed. Simply put, our office would not run without her.
