🎉 Happy 1-Year Work Anniversary to our Legal Administrator, Samuel Trommler! 🎉

Today we're celebrating one year of Samuel's dedication to Certified Fiduciary Services, Inc., and we couldn't be more grateful to have him on our team.

Samuel brings a rare combination to the role: the precision of a 26-year banking career and the clarity of a background in journalism. That blend shows up in everything he does - organized, detail-oriented work on the legal side, paired with an ability to explain complicated things in language people can actually understand. As our Legal Administrator, he keeps our legal matters moving and our documentation sound, and he does it with a steadiness our whole team relies on.

Just as importantly, Samuel understands that behind every file is a family in the middle of a difficult chapter. He has a very caring approach, helping individuals and families navigate major life transitions, bringing a patience, empathy, and respect for people's dignity to our clients every day.

It turns out that care for preserving things runs deep. Outside the office, Samuel is a frequent shopper of antiques and an avid collector of books and historic documents. It is a surprise to no one when he became the unofficial archivist of Certified Fiduciary Services. If it has a story worth keeping, Samuel will make sure it doesn't get lost.

🎉 Alexandra Greene, Senior Property Manager
Alex has been making a meaningful impact at CFS since 2021. With a background in real estate, relocation services, nonprofit leadership, and event coordination, she brings dedication, compassion, and expertise to every client she serves. Outside of work, you'll find Alex enjoying time with her family, cruising in her Jeep with one (or more!) of her four dogs, attending classic rock concerts, discovering new restaurants, and serving her community through her church.

Since joining CFS in 2022, Angela has brought a wealth of financial expertise and a genuine passion for protecting seniors and vulnerable individuals. 💙 What is ALTCS?

Planning for long-term care can feel overwhelming, but understanding your options is an important first step.

ALTCS (Arizona Long Term Care System) is Arizona's Medicaid program that helps eligible individuals receive long-term care services when they can no longer safely live independently due to age, illness, or disability.

ALTCS may help cover:
🏡 In-home care and support
🏥 Assisted living
❤️ Skilled nursing care
🚐 Certain medical and supportive services

Who may qualify?

✔️ Medical Eligibility: Applicants must demonstrate that they require a nursing home level of care. This doesn't necessarily mean they must live in a nursing home. Many individuals qualify while continuing to receive services in their own home or in an assisted living community. Eligibility is determined through a medical assessment that evaluates a person's ability to safely perform daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, toileting, medication management, and cognitive functioning.

✔️ Financial Eligibility: Applicants must also meet Arizona's financial guidelines, which consider factors such as income and countable assets. Certain assets—such as a primary residence (within program limits), one vehicle, personal belongings, and some prepaid burial arrangements—may not count toward eligibility. Because the rules are complex, advance planning can make a significant difference.

Planning ahead before a health crisis occurs can help protect your options and reduce stress for you and your loved ones.

🔑 Never share your account numbers, passwords, or one-time verification codes with anyone—even if they claim to be from your bank.
📧 Be cautious of unexpected emails, text messages, or phone calls, and avoid clicking on links from unknown sources.
📂 Keep important documents, estate planning paperwork, insurance policies, and account information organized in a secure location.
