Beacon Point History Services Mary Rasa gives lectures online and in person on history topics to libraries, senior centers, museums and non-profits.

Mary also writes exhibits, brochures, grants as well as managing social media and webpages for non-profits. -Programs on a variety of topics for school and adult audiences

Five historic places that were saved, lost, are threatened, or were restored, featured in Preservation magazine's Spring 2025 issue.

Just completed another oral history interview for the Aberdeen B&O Train Station. Mr. Zionkowski talks about how during snowstorms, work men were stationed at each switch on the tracks and kept them heated manually. Every time the trains passed, these men had to reset the oil pan that heated the switch.
